For over 20 years, ITI Tooling has been a fore runner in supplying rugged, reliable, and precision “state of the art” turret tooling solutions for all makes of CNC Lathes from around the world. Our Mori Seiki range of live tool spindles is no exception!  

All of our Mori Seiki tool spindles have been developed specifically to complement the revolutionary high speed; high torque tool turrets used on many of the NL, NT, NZ and DuraTurn series machines. These turrets use a high performance tool drive and transmission that is driven by an integral direct drive motor with minimal heat transfer and vibration. 

The design of the ITI/Sauter Live Tool Spindle Units enhances these turret attributes with standard features such as precision alignment surfaces on the housings for rapid set-up’s and changeover’s, high precision bevel gear drives to reduce heat, noise and vibration as well as pre-stressed spindle bearings for high speed and high torque cutting operations. 

Many of the tool spindles have a universal drive shaft construction for right and left hand use, plus they are designed for internal coolant up to 1,100 psi to help keep the tools cool and rapidly clear chips from the work zone.
